Area Sales Manager – Toronto, Canada

Paisley Protectives – A leading provider of construction products to distributors and contractors is now hiring an Area Sales Manager to focus on new business development in Ontario and across Canada.

If you are a road warrior and a hunter with construction knowledge and B2B sales experience, than this might be the perfect opportunity.

Paisley Products of Canada Incorporated has divisions dealing with the aerospace, assembly, automotive, electrical, electronic, pulp and paper and construction industries. For the last 6 years, Paisley Protectives, our construction products division has been growing by a rapid rate serving the North American market. As a result, we are required to take on a new Area Sales Manager to make the most of increased demand.

Your primary role consists of promoting our highly competitive product line to existing leads and to prospective customers.

Responsibilities:

Prospecting new accounts at construction sites (over 180 in the GTA!), at tradeshows in Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver, using our Customer Relationship Management Software and online searching
Developing new relationships and introducing new products to existing relationships
Meeting sales deadlines, sales reporting and achieving sales targets
Achieving a high volume of field sales calls per day (5+)
Working with a sales team that is able to help coordinate with your clients and increase potential commission
Collaborating with in-house customer service, technical specialists, warehouse and custom sales literature to increase sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years in territory sales experience.
Minimum 3 years in construction experience.
Proven track record in sales and building strong relationships with customers
Superior communications and time management skills
Undergraduate degree, Post-graduate degree or college degree
